Brett Roden, baritone will begin his junior year at VVS Central School in September, 2010. Currently he attends St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church in Sherrill, where he is the cantor of the church. He has studied voice privately, has attended NYSSMA solo conferences, and has performed with the OACC, in school musicals and at many community theatres throughout the summer, among other musical endeavors. Following high school graduation, Brett plans to study vocal music. He is looking forward to being a part of your service today.Jan Moore, accompanist, begins her seventh year of retirement from music education in the Rome City School District where she taught for 35 years. She is a graduate of Crane School of Music, has worked locally at both Rome Community Theater and Chatham Theater as music director. Mrs. Moore has conducted various church choirs in the area and substitutes as pianist for local churches. She considers it an honor to be able to join you today.
