Join us Saturday evening as we celebrate the Triumph of Light during the Utica-Rome District Easter Vigil Service. The service begins with the lighting of the Pascal Candle in the darkened sanctuary, proceeds to renewal of baptism vows and culminates in the celebration of Christ’s resurrection.

Please join us for a joint Zion Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church Good Friday Tenebrae service. Tenebrae is a meditative worship service that marks the death of Jesus through a gradual extinguishing of candles. Scripture readings highlighting the Passion story, music, and prayer accompany the light reduction, ending in total darkness and silence to symbolize Christ's death and burial.

Zion Episcopal Church, 140 W Liberty St, Rome, NY. All are welcome to join as we come together to celebrate the love that entered the world on that first, glorious Christmas night.
